How much commission will I earn?
For eligible referrals, you earn 50% of the customer's first invoice and 20% of subsequent eligible invoices for as long as the customer remains subscribed, subject to the affiliate program rules.
How long is the referral cookie?
365 days. If someone visits StoryChief through your referral link, the referral cookie can help attribute a qualifying purchase within that window. Browser privacy settings, deleted cookies, device changes and attribution rules can affect tracking.
Can I join if I bought StoryChief on AppSumo?
Yes, StoryChief users can apply to the affiliate program. Your own AppSumo purchase is separate from affiliate commissions; the program is intended for eligible new paying subscriptions referred through your link.
Do I have to be a customer to become an affiliate?
No. Creators, marketers, consultants, and agencies can also apply.
What happens if a referred customer cancels or gets refunded?
Future recurring commissions stop when eligible payments stop. Refunded or ineligible transactions are not commissionable, in accordance with the affiliate program rules.
Can I refer existing StoryChief customers?
Affiliate rewards are intended for eligible referred subscription sales. Existing customer accounts, self-referrals and duplicate attributions may not qualify. Refer to the program rules for details.
